Introduction
Nkomor Healthcare Inc. is healthcare start up in Accra, Ghana. Nkomor is dedicated to making vital healthcare services accessible and leading innovations to overcome barriers, ensuring affordable and widespread access for all.
Key Responsibility
My responsibility is to redesign the blog page, create an event page, and develop a photo gallery, all while focusing on capturing users' attention and clearly communicating Nkomor's mission. This involves creating wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, adhering to existing design guidelines, and adding features such as social media sharing buttons and a 'More to Read' section to improve user engagement and navigation flow.
Wireframe
After discussing with an organizer, I compiled a list of design needs and requirements.
Then, I started to create a wireframe
Hi-Fi Prototype
After presenting the wireframe design, I began developing a high-fidelity prototype.

What I Learned
Effective Communication: Working remotely across different time zones, I learned the importance of clear and timely communication to collaborate effectively with organizers, understand their vision, and advocate for user-centered design principles.
Balancing Priorities: Navigating different perspectives to create designs that align with overall project goals and enhance user experience.
Iterative Design Process: Incorporating feedback from both organizers and users, refining designs iteratively to ensure the final product is both functional and user-friendly.
This project reinforced my ability to mediate between varying demands, ensuring that the final design is both user-centric and aligned with project objectives.
